Pastor Norman Patterson does open-air preaching and evangelism.

He also offers connection, support, and resources to those who have been hurt, rejected or marginalized by the institutional church.

Walking On by Kelly Mays

A blog about following Christ out of the church

What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. When the bible leads to confusing conclusions

God’s message can get lost in translation when we don’t resonate with his heart. Sometimes clarification is needed.

What scriptures have you struggled to understand, digest, and live out in your heart?

Have you found what you are looking for?

Sometimes how we walk is more important than where we are going. How we take offense, how we treat those who’ve hurt us, who we invest our time and resources in, where we live, what we think… it’s all a part of the journey. The destination is often out of our control. What do you focus on as you journey in your life? What areas do you need help in? Do you feel pressure to get to a finish line?
