In Luke 15, Jesus told three different parables about people who were lost; the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the Prodigal Son. In the parable about the lost sheep, He told about a shepherd who had 100 sheep, but lost one of them and how he left the ninety-nine to search for the lost sheep until it was found. This ministry is dedicated to the lost 100th sheep.

What is the meaning of the name “The 100th Sheep Ministries”?

The best way to initially connect with us is through our contact form. We check our email at least hourly, so it won’t take long for us to get back to you.

How can I connect with someone at The 100th Sheep Ministries?

No, we are not a church. We are part of the Church of Jesus Christ, but we are not a local church or congregation. Our mission focus us on people who are outside of the church, for whatever reason. We are also here for people who are part of a church, but cannot talk to their pastor or other members of their church about what’s going on in their life. Sometimes pastors and church leaders are too scared or embarrassed to open up about their private battles. We are here for you.

Is The 100th Sheep Ministries a church?

Sometimes people are not connected with a church and sometimes they don’t want a Justice of the Peace to do their wedding. We are here for those people who are outside of the church, but still want a wedding ceremony that is beautiful and honors God.

Less and less funerals and memorial services are taking place in a church. They usually take place at a Funeral Home. Many people are not connected to a church or do not know any pastors. We are here to help during this difficult time. We can design a funeral or memorial service that is honoring, simple, and meaningful.

How come you do weddings or funerals?

Frequently asked questions from people going through a hard time…

It’s easy to feel like God cannot or will not forgive your sins. Proverbs 28:13 says, “Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.” You already know what you did was terrible and you feel bad about it. Admitting this is really important. It is just as important to believe God forgives you. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9. The 100th Sheep Ministries is here to help you work through this difficult time in your life. Please contact us if you’d like someone to talk to.

I committed some terrible sins. What if God can’t forgive me?

We are sorry to hear that your church isn’t reaching out to you. There could be many reasons. Sometimes the people or pastor think you are upset with them. Sometimes they know you aren’t there and feel embarrassed that they haven’t reached out to you. Sometimes, sad to say, people are just self-absorbed and don’t even notice. It’s important to try to reconnect. Perhaps a phone call or a text can open a door. This is not an uncommon experience. You are not alone.

I stopped going to church. Now I’m too embarrassed to go back. Why doesn’t anyone from my church reach out to me?

First of all, you are not alone. Addictions to anything from caffeine to heroine are common struggles that people of all classes, colors, backgrounds, and religions struggle with. There are a number of resources available in the community including programs like Alcoholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, Overeaters Anonymous, and other step groups, as well as counselors and other programming. Sometimes these sorts of resources are too much to think about pursuing when you are cycling through an addiction. Please reach out to us and tell us more about what is going on in your life. We’d love to chat with you, come along side you and help you find the help you need. Everyone has a hard time with something, wether it is sex, alcohol, sleeping pills, gambling, porn, food… the list goes on and on. The most important thing is to remember you are NOT alone and there is help. We are not licensed counselors, but we are followers of Christ and we love people. We can help direct you to a professional if that is what you need, or we can be a listening ear and pray with you. The first step is the hardest, but it is also the most important.

I have an addiction. I can’t seem to overcome it. What can I do?

Many people don’t realize it, but it is difficult for church leaders, especially pastors, to get help. Sadly, many church leaders only get help after they are exposed. We want to help you before you, your family, and your church suffer the embarrassment and humiliation that comes with having deep dark sins brought to the light. Some of us at the 100th Sheep Ministries can testify to their own experience of a total breakdown of life. You need someone to talk to who will not condemn or judge you. You need someone who has been in the place you are in right now and who can help you get out of the pain, sin, and hiding behavior. Jesus always connected personally with people. We believe that He wants us to use that same model. Please reach out to us. All inquiries and conversations are kept confidential. Let’s work on this together before things fall apart.

I’m a church leader and am struggling with some sin that is too difficult to share with other leaders. I’m afraid it will ruin my life if anyone finds out. How do I get out of this mess?

It may be hard to believe right now, but you are the very person Jesus loves and is seeking. The Bible says in Luke 15, that Jesus left the ninety-nine sheep to look for the 100th sheep. He is with you. You may not feel it, but He is. We here at The 100th Sheep Ministries have been where you are right now. Yes, each one of us were completely and utterly lost. The only reason we are able to offer this ministry is because unless Jesus came and rescued us, we would still be lost. It will get better. This time will pass. Healing will take time. We are here just for you. All the other ministries we do are nice, but reaching you is the reason we are here. It is what Christ has called us to. You are loved. Connect with us.

I’m so lost. I don’t know what to do. Everything has fallen apart in my life. The pain is too much.
